Detering Orchard

October 13th~ It was such a nice fall day today, so after picking up Ronan from school we decided to go to Detering Orchard to get some apples and pumpkins.  Memaw came along with us since she had the afternoon free. (: Ronan and Griffin got to play in the hay maze and pick out little pumpkins.  We sampled the yummy apple cider and came home with lots of delicious produce!

Skate World

Ronan (& Sadie's) annual school field trip to Skate World is always tons of fun!  Tate & I stopped by for a little while and got some pictures of the kids skating.

Happy Birthday, Josh!

October 6th~ On Josh's actual birthday we enjoyed a somewhat typical day as a family.  Josh went to work and Ronan went to school in the morning.  Then, Becca offered to watch Griffin & Tate so that I could take Josh out to lunch...and that was nice!  We tried out a new place called Sol Picante.  When Josh got home we ate dinner (I made fettuccine alfredo...), and then we went to Ronan's soccer practice.  Then, finally, when we got home, Josh got to open his presents from us. (:

Josh's Party

October 1st~ For Josh's 34th Birthday we invited all the family over for dinner--and Josh had high hopes of the evening turning into a dance party!  He still had the dancing bug after being at Kellie & Steve's wedding! (: (:  He bought a fog machine and a laser, and even put up stage lights.  It was pretty awesome!

I made baked pasta and lasagnas for dinner.

And pumpkin cheesecake and these fun acorns for dessert. (:

Josh is always such a good sport and handles the sea of kids so well. (:

He was SO excited about the gift from the Chases!  A Michael Jackson dance game for the PS3! (A perfect way to start the dance party??)

Josh really knows how to get a party hoppin' (:  I think everyone had a fun time, and most importantly the Birthday Boy had a blast!  I loved watching him have so much fun. (:
