9-10-11

Kellie and Steve's big day was finally here!  And what a BEAUTIFUL wedding it was!  Everything about the wedding and reception was so carefully planned and full of neat traditions...down to the very last little detail.  It was such a special occasion and we felt so thankful to be a part of it!
Looking down our aisle: Devan (Natasha's boyfriend), Natasha, Katrina, Becca, Wyatt, Uncle Keith, & Aunt Carol

The Hickman Fam plus Devan (:
The original Hecht Fam--just missing Erik
As Steve & Kellie arrived to the reception, the music started and everyone started encircling them and dancing a traditional Armenian dance.  It was so cool, and definitely set the mood for the rest of the night! (*photo by Katrina)

The sweet wedding favors &  beautiful cake!
Mom & Aunt Carol
Papa & his silly grandsons
Katrina, Becca, & the Neal Family (Uncle Truls, Aunt Robin, Eleanor, & Hannah)

The reception was so wonderful!  The food was amazing (we got to try some delicious Armenian food!) and we had a blast dancing the night away!  Josh especially was having so much fun dancing that he didn't want to leave.  (We had to start driving home that night)
One last picture with my sisters & some of the cousins before we had to leave...

Cali Vacation- Beach Day!

Ahhh, this is what being at the beach is supposed to feel like!
Warm air, warm sand, & warm water!  We were lovin' it!!
Cousin Natasha getting ready to ride some waves (:
We all went in the water--swimming, boogie boarding, & surfing.  Josh helped Ronan and Griffin boogie board, which was a lot of fun to watch!
They were so brave and did a great job!
There goes Griffin!
Ronan even rode some small waves on his own:
Ronan & Griffin keep asking when we can go back (;
(:
Finding treasures:
Ronan made himself a seaweed skirt (;
Aunt Becca & Tate
Josh got some good use out of Natasha's surfboard.  He's a natural!
Time to dig with cousin Wyatt!
**We realized pretty quickly that we needed to do the "stingray shuffle" when entering the ocean.  Uncle Keith got stung on the foot by one. ):  Josh and Wyatt accidentally stepped on stingrays, but didn't get stung.  Crazy!  (I guess shuffling your feet in the sand as you walk scares the stingrays away.)

Bachelorette Fun!

Melissa planned such a fun night for Kellie's bachelorette party!  We started off with pedicures & manicures in Glendora...
Beautiful sisters~ matron of honor and the bride-to-be!

Katrina meeting baby Dominic for the first time.
We all met up at the Barretts to carpool to dinner, but were instead greeted with a stretch SUV limousine!!  It was an awesome surprise--thanks to Melissa & her connections (:
The whole group of bridesmaids and cousins of the bride!
The limo ride was SO much fun!  I had never been in anything like it (:
Becca, Me, Katrina, & Melissa
We were driven to the Irvine Spectrum where we ate dinner at the Cheesecake Factory.
It was so much fun having cousin time!  It's so rare that we all get to hang out together!
Kellie, Hannah, Emily, Katrina, Natasha, Me, Becca, & Eleanor
After dinner we walked around and found a place to take some group pictures.  We gathered by the fountain for a cousins picture and after someone suggested we line up youngest to oldest, we realized that we had automatically lined up that way. (: Such habit!
(all of the Stoerman girl cousins)
A silly one. Lol!!
And, the whole group:
The next night was the rehearsal dinner at the Barrett's house.  I ended up with only a couple of pictures from it, but everything was so pretty and the food was delicious!
The Hickmans and Mom & Papa, who had just arrived!  Tate was happily asleep in Memaw's arms. (:
All the Stoerman cousins, youngest to oldest, minus Erik who wasn't able to get time off work.
Eleanor, Hannah, Wyatt, Natasha, Emily, Kellie, Melissa, Katrina, me, & Becca
