Happy Birthday, Josh!

October 2013~ Josh and I went out to one of our favorite sushi restaurants, Izumi, for his birthday (a few days early)  Happy Birthday, my love!  I am SO very thankful that you were born 36 years ago!

Sunday October 6th~ I made Josh's favorite breakfast: bacon, eggs, and biscuits & gravy.  I love that it was warm enough to eat in the backyard!

I realized when we got to church that we were all wearing stripes and coordinating colors!  So of course we had to get a picture. ;)

On the Saturday after Josh's birthday we went to Detering Orchard with Josh's family for the Apple Daze celebration.

Everyone came to our house that evening, along with all of my family to celebrate with Josh.

Patty and I made lasagna and we had salad, bread, and an ice cream sundae bar for dessert.

It was a pleasant evening for eating outside!

September Birthdays

We went to Portland on September 28th to celebrate (Great) Grandma Ruddick's 80th Birthday!  The party was at Aunt Kris and Uncle Jeff's house.   

Aunt Kris always has gifts for the kids.  They had fun playing with bubbles out on the front deck.  The rain didn't bother us...much. ;)

Grandma was so thankful to have the whole family together!  She got emotional as we all sang Happy  Birthday to her...it was very sweet :)

After the party we went to Ikea--and of course had to eat dinner there, too!

Yummy!  (Although, I think the meatballs triggered a migraine for me.  It could have also been the craziness of having three kids at Ikea and then driving home in a torrential downpour. ;(  I thought my head was going to explode.)

On Sunday, September 29th, we went to Emma's 5th Birthday Party at Chuck E Cheese's!  I only got a few pictures of the Birthday girl:
