Halloween

 Our Jack-o-Lanterns
Trick-or-Treating at Grammie & Grandpa's house

We met up with the Green family there and got some pictures of the cousins dressed up in their costumes.

Emma, Macey, Ethan, Ronan, and Griffin

Next we went to the mall to join the Chase & Henry families in trick-or-treating there.  It was so crowded, but the kids were excited to see each other.  I had just gotten over being sick for a week with the flu (h1n1??), so I didn't have the energy to walk around much.

EWEB Halloween Party

Every year on Halloween EWEB has a party in the morning before they open for the public.  It's a big deal there and each of the departments go all out with their costumes.  Josh's department, Energy Management Services, has performed a dance the past 3 years.  One of his co-workers is a choreographer and dance teacher, so she puts it all together and they practice during lunch throughout the month of October.  This year they performed a compilation of scenes from the Austin Powers movies.
The boys and I were so excited to watch it!  Josh's mom joined us there, too.

Holt'oberfest

Oct. 23rd~ Here are a few picture from Ronan's school carnival, Holt'oberfest.  The boys had a lot of fun dressing up and seeing what all the other kids were dressed up as!  They both ended up choosing costumes that we had already had at home, which made it easy!  Griffin was Darth Vader and Ronan was a ninja.  We ate dinner there and the boys each played a few games.  It was a fun night!

Rock Party

We hosted a Rock Band/Guitar Hero party at our house for the high school group from Grace.  We have been working on getting our bonus room organized, and Josh set up a projector so that we could have two gaming systems going.  It was nice to be able to use the space and accomodate a big group.  Aaron & Becca, our next-door neighbors, (: said they could "feel" our party.  Ooops!  Thankfully we were finished by 9:00, so I don't think it bothered the rest of the neighborhood.

Gettin' Crafty

Elizabeth in our Moms of Grace group did a great job of coming up with this cute craft for us to make! It was easy to assemble and they turned out so pretty and festive! We each made one to take home and one to donate to a Holiday Market benefiting the Lane Pregnancy Support Center. We all enjoyed getting the chance to sit & visit with one another (without having to think too much!), so thank you, Elizabeth, for putting this together for us!

Happy Birthday, Papa!

We all gathered for dinner on Oct. 19th to celebrate my dad's birthday, which was the day before.  His food request is always sloppy joes and tater tots, and the grandkids all know it now. (:

Becca shaved Tyler's hair into a mohawk for crazy hair day at school.  He got to keep it that way for a few days. (:

Papa got lots of special handmade cards from the grandkids.

Soccer Season

Here are some more pictures from a few of the soccer games.  Ronan always had his own little cheering section--it was so nice to have family there to watch him play!
