Progressive Easter- part 4

Before we all crashed after such a full day, we finished off the night with dessert at the Chase's house.  Becca make a really yummy chocolate chip mint ice cream cake and mini cupcakes.  It was a fun way to end the day, and I think we all enjoyed getting to spend time at each of our houses!

Our house was the next destination of the day, where we had dinner and an Easter egg hunt!  Mom made pulled pork sandwiches and Becca and I contributed scalloped potatoes and asparagus.
Uncle Tom and Aunt Kathy have been working on rebuilding their country home, so it was fun for them to get to talk to Josh about construction and details in our house.

Summer, Kara, and Cedar were so cute to watch with their plastic eggs.  Summer would gather the eggs, put them on her chair, and sit on them.  She stuffed as many as she could under herself. (:
The big kids got to search upstairs for their hidden eggs.  Each kid was assigned a certain color of egg to look for to keep it all even & fair. (:

Progressive Easter-part 2

The next stop for the Hecht family Easter house-hopping was Katrina & Kenton's house where we had salad & fruit appetizers.  Katrina make the cutest little filled tarts: Pistachio Crusted Goat Cheese & Grape Salad bites, Caesar Salad bites, Raspberry & Mascarpone Cream bites!  They were all SO delicious!!

Summer was apprehensive at first, but finally started warming up to us & offered her foot to Becca (:  Kara wasn't feeling well that day, so she stayed pretty close to her mama.
Josh & Papa playing with the kids in the Henry's big backyard.
Sadie & Ronan turned Finn's room into a pretend classroom/daycare. (:  They did a good job of being "in charge" of the little cousins.

Cedar and Summer are pretty much the same size even though Cedar is nine months younger!

Progressive Easter-part 1

This year for Easter my mom came up with the idea of celebrating a day early so that my cousins from Portland could join us, and then house-hopping so that they could see each of our new homes.  It made for a full, but fun day for all of us!  We started out at my parent's house for light appetizers and egg coloring.  Cousin Dan and his wife, Brooke, drove down from Portland on Saturday with their twin girls, Summer & Kara.  Uncle Tom (my dad's older brother & also Dan's dad), his wife, Kathy, and Kathy's sister, Mary, also decided to drive up from the Bay Area to spend Easter weekend with all the Oregon family!

John Mayer

On Tuesday, March 30th, I went to Portland with some friends to see John Mayer in concert!!  We had been looking forward to going for so long--I think we got our tickets back in November. (:  It was such an amazing concert and truly an incredible experience!!  Our seats were on the floor of the Rose Garden in row 22, thanks to Jill who ordered our tickets the minute they went on sale.
Michael Franti & Spearhead was the opening band.  They were a lot of fun and really got the audience involved & moving.
