65 Years!!

On June 10th we celebrated Grammie & Grandpa Lermo's 65th wedding anniversary with a big party at our house.  It was a very special event, and we were all so honored to share in their happiness!
This was the cake topper from their wedding cake 65 years ago!!
Such a sweet & wonderful couple!  We are so thankful for their example of love & commitment in marriage!
Lovey Dovey, as all the grand & great-grandchildren fondly call them.
Peonies form our yard, which just happened to be Grammie's favorite flower. (:
Gathering together to pray for the meal...
Josh's mom worked very hard to prepare all the food for dinner.  She made BBQ ribs, salads, & corn-on-the-cob. (:
Eating & enjoying the wonderful company.
(Aunt Diane was there, along with Uncle Ron and his family. And, also, Grammie's sister Fern was there!)

The family went in on Kindles for each of them!
It's amazing to think how far technology has come in their lifetime!
Audrey was able to give a few tips on how to use the Kindle since she recently got one, too.  (;

 (Lindsay's husband, Sawyer, wasn't able to be there.)

Hannah's Grad Party

On Saturday, June 9th, we went to Portland to celebrate my cousin Hannah's high school graduation!  How can it be that she's old enough to graduate!?!  Where has the time gone?

It was awesome that so many of our California relatives were able to come up for the party!
(Grandpa, the Barretts, Hickmans, Jahangards, & Adamians)
Uncle Keith, Aaron, Aunt Carol, & Becca

 (Grammie will especially like this picture)
The weather cooperated nicely so that the party could be outside...in the Neal's backyard and in the alley behind their house.
That night Tate started saying, "Nummy Jar", because there were jars of M&Ms on every table. (:  When he woke up the next morning those were the first words out of his mouth!
The trampoline was a huge hit for the kids!  They seriously spent most of the evening jumping.
Tate even got to jump when the big kids were willing to be mellow enough. (;
(Griffin is in mid-jump/crash)
Erik came down from Seattle, and everyone enjoyed getting to see him (and meet Julia)!

End of Baseball

We had a lot of fun watching Ronan play baseball this Spring!  He had a great season--it really seemed like something clicked with him this year.  He was very focused and he understood where the next plays would be...and just overall seemed much more confident than he did last year.  He really really loved playing and that, of course, is most important thing! (:
Throwing to Gage at 1st base
Hustling to tag the runner...
Making plays at 1st base:

He discovered that he really likes playing catcher. (;
Way to go, Ronan!  We are so very proud of you!!
