Blue Pool

August 4, 2012~ We went on a family hike to Blue Pool at the Carmen Smith Reservoir.  Josh does work at the hydroelectric power plant there occasionally and heard about this hike, so he wanted to bring us there to see it!  When you get to the top you see what is so special about it!  The water is truly amazing!
Ronan and Griffin were eager hikers!  They love being in the woods and exploring!

Tate had a mind of his own that day.  He didn't want to be in the backpack, but rather walk on his own.  It was a little frustrating at times because the terrain was pretty rough, but we made the best of it.  He eventually rode in the backpack...and on the hike down he ended up falling asleep.
Thankfully Tate has a very patient Daddy!

The water is super freezing (like painfully cold), otherwise we would have been swimming!
