School's Out!

Woo Hoo! It's the last day of 1st grade!!  What a full & FUN year for our biggest boy!

The soon-to-be 2nd, 3rd, and 6th graders!

Papa, Tate, & I picked up the kids after school and it was fun to see their excitement.  I totally remember that last day of school feeling! (:

Memaw & Papa planned an awesome "School's Out" party after school for all the kids, including pizza, a giant cookie, games, goodies, & bubble fun!  (Tyler's friend, Drew, go to come.)

That evening our family went to dinner to celebrate the end of school and Ronan's good report card (a Hecht family tradition). (:

Preschool Promotion

Griffin's end-of-the-year preschool performance & promotion was on June 14th.  He sure loved his first year of preschool, and being in the same class as Finley!  It was fun for us to see how much he learned and grew this year, especially in his confidence level!  Way to go, Griffin!  We are so very proud of you!

Miss Debby said something special about each child, including an acrostic for their names.

Mike's Visit

Papa's life-long best buddy, Mike, came to visit for the weekend while Mom was in California for cousin Natasha's college graduation.  While he was here, Mike wanted to make his famous sub sandwiches for all of us after church.  Of course we thought that was a great idea! (:  What a treat!

Ronan is such a fantastic big brother!  He is helpful and gentle and sweet.  I love these pictures of the two of them!

Soon Griffin joined in on the photo shoot. (:  He is very playful with Tate and is always willing to bring him toys and help entertain him.  I'm so thankful that these three are such good buddies already!
