We hosted three Chinese students for 10 days at the end of July. (We were expecting two boys, but ended up with a surprise third! It ended up being better that way--we all had so much fun together!) I love this picture of Niro, Stone, and Anthony with our three boys when they first arrived.
The boys were SO easy to host! They loved playing with our kids and trying new activities. They liked my cooking and ate A LOT of it, which was so great! I enjoyed cooking for our big crew--lots of all-American meals and comfort food. :)

Making s'mores--a first for the Chinese boys! |

We enjoyed long conversations with Stone and Niro. They even wanted to talk about Christianity...and Josh was able to share the Gospel with them. |
|
Anthony approved of the s'mores! He had a major sweet tooth. :) |

Griffin was excited for the big "feasts" we had! |
Bowling was another "first" experience for the Chinese boys. (Niro later told me that he counted 14 new experiences that we exposed him to. I joked that one of them was riding in a car with a screaming toddler!)

They asked to go to church with us--another new experience! It seriously was such a joy to have them stay with us! We wished it would have been longer. |
