Baby Dedication

On March 11th we had Tate's Baby Dedication at our church (it also happened to be Grandpa's birthday that day, too!).  

Pastor Steve explained to us and the congregation that doing this does not make Tate a Christian, but it is a way for us to dedicate Tate's life to the Lord...and make a public commitment to raise him in a loving home and to teach him about Jesus. (: 

Tate did great the whole time we were on stage.  He even let Pastor Steve hold him during the prayer. (:

My mom said a prayer for me, Josh's dad prayed for him, and Steve prayed for Tate.  It was all very special to us!

We are so thankful that God has allowed us to be parents to our three sons!  Each of our boys are such a gift, but we acknowledge that they are just that, a gift from God...entrusted to us during their life here on Earth.
