Haircuts

After soccer on Wednesday we rode to Memaw's house so that my boys could get haircuts (and play with their cousins). My mom was watching Sadie, Cohen, and Finley at the time, and they were very excited to have Ronan and Griffin there too. Right away all five kids sat up at the bar and asked for a snack--which to their delight turned out to be powdered donuts! (:
Griffin was not very happy about getting his hair cut (trimmed) at first. Thankfully Memaw is a pro and she has lots of tricks to help little kids get through their haircuts.
He played with the spray bottle and relaxed a little...
Ta Da! All done!
Next it was Ronan's turn. This boy has SO MUCH hair! It is so thick and full! We knew it would be a tricky task, but he managed to hold it together pretty well.

Before:
He sat perfectly still for the first two or three snips around one ear, then proudly declared, "OK, Memaw, I think I'm all done now. That's good." Sorry, Ronan, there's still a lot more to cut!
He was antsy and wiggly and didn't want his hair to be sprayed with water. But, again, Memaw is a PRO! She did an amazing job-- it turned out so cute and was exactly what I was imagining (shorter in the back and sides, while keeping his bangs long-just like his preschool picture)
After:
The boys couldn't leave Memaw's house without looking for snails in the backyard (:

Thanks for the great haircuts, Mom! You're awesome!
